So what exactly is a short-term rental (STR)?
Any lease ranging from 1 night to 180 nights is classified as a short-term rental. These properties are typically listed on dedicated platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, Hopper, booking.com, and others, ensuring the highest exposure of verified guests from around the world and insurance protection.
What is the cost of partnering with Stayplus?
As your rental partner, we only earn when you do. Meaning, Stayplus services’ value as a 20% share of total booking profit, after taxes, and any associated channel fees (for example: Airbnb is 3%). Cleaning, and laundry fees are covered by the guest. Any additional fees associated with home improvement would be discussed prior and billed separately on a per case basis if needed.
The 20% service fee as a percentage of gross rental profit per booking includes Property management (inspections, consultation, and maintenance quotes); Marketing (professional photography, develop appealing property listing across 5+ channels, leverage realtor partnerships, targeted ads); Rentals (multi-channel listing, manage operations, data analytics to maximize income potential); Hospitality (24/7 guest availability, check-ins/out, concierge services, insider’s guide, housekeeping, essential toiletries and linen).
How do we get paid?
From the total profit generated from a booking, 80% goes to the owner and 20% to Stayplus. As your trusted rental partner, our 20% share is the value of your investment (Stayplus service fee) to receive the ongoing services and benefits we provide before, during and after each booking. We charge each guest before arrival to ensure you’ll always get paid on time when you host. You never have to handle payment directly. We deposit your money on a monthly basis after the guest is scheduled to arrive to make sure check-in goes smoothly. You will also receive a monthly report highlighting earnings and recommendations based on insight.
What does insurance include?
Our listing channels like Airbnb cover every booking with $1M USD in property damage protection and another $1M USD in insurance against accidents.
Who interacts with guests?
In addition to handling all aspects of rental operations and management, we also interact with guests at every step of their stay to provide an optimal experience catered to their needs. You will also receive access to a rental manager’s portal (rental operating software) to view all reservations and guest information live at your convenience.
